Test Manager (MS Dynamics 365)

Role Summary

As the Test Manager, you will play a critical role in a high-profile system modernisation program. You will lead the testing strategy to transition outdated legacy systems into a contemporary, cloud-based ecosystem. This role requires a deep technical understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite, a passion for test automation, and the ability to navigate complex CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment.

• Tech Stack: MS Dynamics 365 (CRM), Power Platform, Azure, SQL, DevOps

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the end-to-end Testing Strategy for the modernisation program, ensuring seamless migration from legacy systems to MS Dynamics 365.

• D365 Expertise: Oversee testing across various CRM modules, ensuring that heavy customisations and integrations meet business requirements.

• Automation & DevOps: Drive a "shift-left" approach by integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) for continuous ingestion and integration.

• Comprehensive Testing: Manage both Functional (System, Integration, UAT) and Non-Functional (Performance, Security, Scalability) testing workstreams.

• Defect Management: Lead the defect triage process, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and minimal business impact.

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with external agencies and internal digital product teams to ensure interoperability and performance standards are met.

Required Skills & Experience

• Dynamics 365 Specialist: Proven experience managing testing for large-scale MS Dynamics 365 CRM implementations, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Automation Architect: Solid experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks within a DevOps environment.

• Technical Breadth: Strong understanding of data ingestion, SQL, and cloud-based architecture (MS Azure).

• Methodology: Expert-level knowledge of Agile delivery and the ability to manage testing within fast-paced sprint cycles.

• Legacy Transformation: Previous experience in "monolith-to-cloud" migration projects is highly regarded.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into business-friendly language.
